GREAT !!looks awesome.
one question, the wanding technique remains mostly the same i presume? Stay use much as possible out of sight, try to let as much camera's track the wand at the same time, and do circles/crosses?

Re: the new wand
This looks like a fantastic improvement. I am often forced to use non optimal capture spaces and this should help tremendouly. I will be ordering my new wand shortly and looking forward to the update to Arena.
Re: the new wand
WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT.
Can't wait for the Arena release. Looks like a massive improvement, and that'll really help with the heavy capture we're doing.
Thanks, guys.

Yes the technique should be about the same. Horizontal and vertical wanding movements will work as well.

seth said ( The new calibration enables significantly improved tracking accuracy, and it also gives you much more flexibility in how you aim your cameras and configure your volume. )
so now after launching arena 1.6 beta can u plz post a video that shows the new method or the new way to aim the camera i mean i am using the usual positioning method by using the old wand and pointing all the cameras to it now how should it be with the 3 markers wand

Hello:
We are working on expanding our tutorials to include the new 3 point wand method for Arena.
In general, you can start with the same camera pointing technique as before, you will just get better 3D point results.
You can now expand your capture volume a bit more by aiming the cameras further away from the center. You no longer have to keep them pointed in the central location.
There are many other things you can do now as well, like linear camera configurations, and a ton more, but if you are doing mocap, the idea is that 3D point reconstruction will be better and you can have more freedom in how you aim the cameras.
