Hi,
I'm looking at the drawing for the V120 camera connector to make your own break out cable.
I know that the sync lines have an encoding on them that is specific to the sync operation of the cameras (i.e. its NOT a simple clock pulse).
I want to have a simple clock pulse from V120 provide signal to a custom device of ours. I was in a phone conference meeting and Jim Richardson stated that there is a pin on the V120 that puts out a basic square wave in time with the shutter or exposure or something.
Looking at the drawing I would guess that is Pin 3 AUX_OUT - can you verify this?
Pin out function for Custom breakout cable
Re: Pin out function for Custom breakout cable
ok, now I see why I have no replies on this
I just got my cameras got one running with the 2D grayscale test sample and the aux out goes from 3V to 0V and stays there.
we'll be in touch,

Re: Pin out function for Custom breakout cable
what is the purpose of the aux out pin?
Re: Pin out function for Custom breakout cable
I got my answers - I was on the wrong pin. Connect to pin 2 gives me the frame rate. perfect.
