trackir in the day

Hi,
I can't use trackire5 during day time.As explain in the manual,We recommend turning off or dimming lights in the room and removing any
highly reflective materials that are directly in the view of the TrackIR's
camera. You can easily check what the TrackIR's camera is seeing by opening
the Camera View.
But a friend said to me There is no problem according to him for using during day time.
More over,during the evening, in the dimming light, if I raise my head to much, I find myself behind my plane.
I don't have this problem with Wings of prey or Il2 Sturmovik but with xplane9 and fsx.

Looking in the camera view, are you seeing more than 3 green tracking points, any red/gray points?

Are you using different profiles for IL2, compared to x-plane & FSX?
