TrackIR won't run in XP

I have TrackIR ver 5.0. It works OK in Winsows 7 but in Windows XP SP3, I get a windows error message telling me that TrackIR V5 has encountered an error and inviting me to tell MS. I have done this but without result.

What video card, video card drivers are you using?

Do you see this issue, with the 4.1.037 TrackIR software?

Using Radeon HD5790, with Ver 10.6 drivers etc, although problem also existed with Ver 10.4. Error message does seem to indicate problem with ATI dll.

Have now removed Ver 5 software and installed ver 4.1.037 as suggested. Now works OK.
