TrackIR support in personal/open source development

Hi, I'm writing software for myself, which will be probably released as freeware later, and I'm interested in how to read 6DOF data from TrackIR with TrackClip Pro and TrackClip.

I've been looking at the Developer zone on your website, but it states that TrackIR is for commercial development only ??? Does it mean one has to pay to help you sell more TrackIRs ?

Is there any free way of supporting your devices ?
