Green light on system turned off but still tracking

Hello,

A few minutes the green light went off on the smartnav but the little red dots are still on and the smartnav is still tracking. Is this a problem?

Generally it shouldn't go off, unless it losses track of the IR point.

Are you connected directly to the PC, or using a hub?

It's on right now but it's connected via USB.

Mine does the same and is plugged into my HP DSX1200 laptop. I also have boot-up issues whereby I'm required to unplug then plug it in again. It then works fine. Using Windows 7 Ultimate.

Are you powering down the PC, or going into sleep mode?
