Trackir 5 , win 7 driver issues

Hi,

I have the same error. Errors when shutting down clients.

Win 7 64bt.

This is my system if that helps.
core i5 750 Asus P7p55, Ati HD5770, 1TB HDD
Saitek X52
TrackIR4 Pro
Microsoft Wireless 6000 keyboard & Mouse

Gents - I have same error. Flew FSX this morning and then shut FSX down and Track IR.

Noticed PC was sluggish and slow to respond. In Processes 2 instances of Track IR 5 still running despite program being closed and not showing in systen tray. This is not the first time it has happened.

Track IR connected directly to PC and not USB external hubs

Win 7 64 bit w 4 Gig Ram
Saitek Yoke and pedals (latest drivers)
Track IR 5 with hat clip (latest drivers)
Logitech G11 keyboard (latest drivers)

Im have issues as well?

I installed the newest software for my trackir 5 and all seemed well, until I tried to run the trackir application. I have to use task manager to shut it down because it just locks up.

WIN 7 64bit

Intel i7 Q720
ati HD 5870
6gig ram

I found the problem, I believe. I installed the 4.x version and it works. It most be in the 5.x version of the software.

I'm having the same problem too. I have the TrackIR 4 and the TrackIR 4 software works great, no problems. I mainly use it for FSX and recently got EZDOC camera option which requires TrackIR 5 software.

After closing the program, it will still show in the task manager, and if my comp goes into sleep mode the TrackIR will not be recognized until I plug it into a different usb. I have done the check all the usb devices to remain powered but this has not helped.

Hoping for a solution soon.

I am having the same issue in Windows 7 Ultimate with a TrackIR 5, TrackClip Pro and the TrackIR v4.X and 5.X software. When attempting to shut down my computer, or quit the TrackIR software the process stops responding. I recall this being an issue (or something like it) with an early version of the 5.0 software and at the time, Windows Vista. The v4.0 always worked great for me, but no longer. TrackIR had not been installed on his machine since it was last formatted and proper installation process was followed.

I have tried moving the device to other USB ports, this has not helped.

The program TrackIR.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

Can be leftovers from verson 4.0 and then install version 5.0
That was it for me,i have to completly remove version 4.0 and vers 5,0 from registry.I have trackir 4 whit software 5,0
Windows 7 64 bit
Now it works ok

Petherf...thanks man, uninstalled trackir then went into the registry and ran a search for naturalpoint, erased all leftovers and looks like it did the trick.
