Hi, I just got this thing today.
I'm using 5.0.300 and the TrackClip that came with the product.
I have TrackClip set as the Tracking Target. Here's the problem, I have to move the camera to left of me to get the dots into a view where they're not being cut off by the right of the screen. From what I read this is normal for the TrackClipPro setting, but that's not enabled and the manual states my camera should be centered on my monitor.
When I go into camera display mode, I can clearly see 3 dots, but if the camera is centered on my monitor and angled so that it is pointing forward, it displays the dots to the far right of my screen -- part of which they're cut off.
Am I missing something? Shouldn't viewing the display in camera mode with the TrackIR centered on top of my monitor, show me all 3 dots in the "center" on my screen?
I can hit center(F12), which makes things usable, but since the dots are at a skewed angle, my head movement isn't the same when moving right to left as an example.
My OS is XP 64, all up to date. Let me know if other info is needed.

One more problem I'm encountering. TrackIR's software doesn't display right on my 30"'s native rez. I had to change my resolution from 2560x1600 to 1900x1200 to get the Motion Adjustment window to display the entire grid window. At my monitor's native rez, it cuts off on the bottom and doesn't display the curve to adjust.

Thanks for any help, hopefully what I'm stating makes sense.

Did you try dragging the lower right corner of the software, when at the larger screen resolution?
Full screen window, or windowed mode?
Witht he camera centered, and with your head centered and level, have you tried aiming the camera itself left/right up and down?

Yep, I found out last night that if the window is about 1200 pixel tall, that the graph on the motion adjustment displays correctly. The mask that's being used in that area only resizes its height to a set point, then anything dragged beyond that gets cut off.
I went out and bought a PCI USB card today and I have the TrackIR plugged into that now. I figured I needed more USB ports, since they were all full. Anyways, I don't know why, but that pretty much resolved any issues. Now the unit is centered on my screen. I still have to rotate it to its right though, but this is much better.
Anyways, I think I'm good now. I guess the only thing left is minor and I can live with it and that's the GUI mask issue noted above.
One last question. Does the TrackClip Pro provide a brighter source for the camera to track then these reflectors?
Thanks.

Re: TrackIR 5 camera position offset problem?
It can be brighter, as you are working with a reflected IR source, against an active IR source.
