I recently purchased the TrackIR pro to go supplement FSX. It came with v4.1.030 which only works for windows2000 and xp. I went to the website and downloaded the newest version of v5 and it didnt work. then i downloaded the v4.1.35 patch and i still cant get it to work. when i open up trackir i can visually see and confirm my head motion so i know the hardware is ok. am i just an idiot and dont know how to connect trackIR with FSX?
I'm running vista/32, 4GB/ram, 4.1Ghz processor, NVIDIA graphics, ASUS motherboard, yada yada
if it helps, i have TrackIR 4 #xxxxx with both the clip and the reflectors
hardware, software or game issues?
Re: hardware, software or game issues?
OK, first I would recommend using either the 4.1.037, or the 5.0 software.
second, what version of FSX are you using?
Do you have service pack 1 and service pack 2 installed for FSX?
Any mods/add-ons installed for FSX?

i actually uninstalled and reinstalled the latest edition of v5 and now it seems to work, although when i'm flying it seems to glitch every now and then.
