Unable to use Wivik Keyboard to enter text

Hi,
My father in law is unable to use Wivik keyboard when operating through Smart Nav and DwellClicker. Due to his disability he is unable to type and so therefore is relying solely on both applications to work together. He recently changed the computer (Win2K) that both were previously working on for a WinXP laptop. Both installations were successful but when he tries to dwell over a letter on the Wivik keyboard there is a Windows "donk" soundand no character appears in Word,Internet Explorer, etc.

When SmartNav starts upon bootup, a message appears saying that DwellClicker is not availablewith this package on SmartNav and the check box is greyed out on the ControlPanel. However DwellClicker does start and works fine. If he closes this message DwellClicker disappears off the screen and wivik keyboard works!!!!
However he is unable to continue any further as DwellClicker has gone from the screen and when he tries to open it back up then wivik stops working again.
Do you know of any fix for this? I believe a similar post appeared before but there was no conclusion to it. Thanks,

What version of Wivik are you use?

Are you using an AT model of the SmartNAV software?

Which version of the SmartNAV software are you using?

Do you have the dwell clicking feature enabled within your keyboard application as well?
