Mac worries

Hello,

I've been using Smartnav on Windows for a few years and so far so good. I've just bought an iMac and am about to plunk down $300 on the Mac version of Smartnav.

Now I'm worried about the quality since I read one bad post about it. If it's not good can anyone else confirm this. I just might have made a huge mistake buying the Mac. How can they charge that much for bad software? Please say it ain't so.
