Hello!
I would like to know which is the best situation for the ir cameras to capture as well as possible the face motion and avoid the gaps and peaks on the movement. I use a set of 6 cameras and I've configurated as a semicircle position.
Maybe do I have to put the cameras closer one of each other or just the opposite?
I want to show a live streaming data in a 3D model in MotionBuilder but with this errors it is not possible.
Thank you!!
some gaps and peaks when I record my face motion
Re: some gaps and peaks when I record my face motion
Are you running both the full body, as well as expression?
You will have to reconfigure each setup different for each application.
How far apart do you have your cameras setup?

I'm running only expression, I just want to capture my expression data. I work in a room and the set of cameras are on the table in semicircle position to focus my face while I'm seated, so the distance between the cameras is not far, just like this picture:

With Expression (and Arena) a good camera calibration is important for getting good tracking. What kind of results are you getting when you calibrate?
Also, if you'd like to send us some sample captures which exhibit the problems you are having we can take a look at them. Send the files to support@naturalpoint.com with a reference to this forum thread.

Re: some gaps and peaks when I record my face motion
Ok, of course, tomorrow I send you a project with my template and recorded track with it. I've been editing the clip to fill those gaps and peaks on the signal, so now it looks better but, as I said, if I want to show my motion in live streaming, I can not allow these errors.
My results are "exceptional", as always, I try to keep the best results on the calibration. Maybe I should change the position of the side cameras.
Thank you very much!
