Head movement transition

Post by Derian V »

Hey guys, i'm really having a problem that is making my track ir 5 completely useless... I'm having second thoughts on continuing to use it now...

The problem is that I have to turn my head very far to turn enough in the game to see what I need to see for example in the Level-D 767. To look at the Pedestal I have to look at my wall then turn my eyes to the screen which is very very annoying. I have followed what Vincent said which was to download the software and just keep everything default but select whether you're using the Track Clip Pro, or the regular sensor and I am using the Track Clip Pro atm.

If anyone could please help me that would be great because I want to use this thing the way it's meant to be used. Also, it seems like when TIR is enabled, I get more lag when looking around the VC.

Something else that is bugging me is that when I look at say the AFCS, it's hard to keep the camera steady to put in a hdg or anything.

Someone please reply and help me. Thanks!

OH YEAH! Too many to count. I just removed EZCA all together to see if it helped but I still have to move my head far away from the screen to look down and the other problems are still hapenning.

I'm not sure what I need to do here so if you could guide me through or something that would be nice. I already read the manual aswell.

(All I need to do know is make sensitivity higher, on all axis. If anyone could show me how to do that that would be great.

OF to increase the response from all of the axes. You just need to increase the spped slider, under basic settings. This will increase the multiplier used across all the axes.

Thanks alot. I got that down now but it's a bit hard to hit the buttons in the VC. It's hard to hold my head completely still for example when I want to turn the heading knob or something. What should I do about that now Vincent?

Try using the pause hotkey, to pause the TrackIR movement.

So people map the pause feature to the mouse key, pause the IR, use the mouse to click, then use the mouse to unpause the IR software.
