TrackIR 4:PRO not working with LOMAC (vanilla)

I have just bought TrackIR 4:PRO and am having problems with no TrackIR response in Lock On: Modern Air Combat v 1.0.0.1 (not Flaming Cliffs, just the vanilla version). Apart from a few missions there are no add ons.

I am using TrackIR software v 4.1.037 - Final B. [Versions 5.1 beta 03 and 5.0 Final keep crashing - see separate post at http://preview.alturl.com/zq6i2]. The software starts fine and works as expected with IL-2 1946 [apart from occasionally getting stuck looking at the bottom right of the cockpit, which I solve with either the F9 key or by covering the TrackIR camera for a few seconds] but not LOMAC. The blue, green and red lights are all on.

After trawling these forums I tried without success:

- Launching TrackIR before launching LOMAC, and vice-versa.
- A different USB.
- Running both applications as a user with admin privileges (there is no option to "run as admin" only "run as user xyz").
- Checking for duplicate Simconnect.dll files (only the one, for FSX).
- deleting TrackIr.INI from \Input and \Config.

The TrackIR profile for LOMAC is set to "Combat" although I tried the Default too.

I am running Windows XP SP3, on a Dell Dimension 5100 with a 3gb processor and 4gb of RAM. I have an ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series 512mb graphics card, the display is running at 1024x768 and the DirectX (v 9 I think) tests all work fine.

I have been flying LOMAC for years, having started my love affair with flight sim in "A-10: Attack" about 10 years ago, then onto "Flanker" so would dearly love TrackIR to work. Please help!!

OK, 2 things, make sure you are up to the last patch issued, which was 1.02

You must uncheck the box for "cockpit mouse option" to enable TrackIR to work! This can be found under Options/Cockpit of the LO-MAC settings screen.

Unchecking the box for "cockpit mouse option" under Options/Cockpit of the LO-MAC settings screen worked a treat thank you ( I was looking in the /Input section)

No upgrade necessary.
