argh, upgraded PC. Track IR 4 xxxxx was fine on XP. Installed fine on new PC but starting causes a great deal of flickering then an error message saying too many errors occurred which indicates a serious problem from which we cannot recover, The application must close. Please visit http://nvidia.com/page/support.html for help. Error code 2.
So go there and theres a lot of error code 4 but no 2...doh...
Can anyone help? I appreciate this is probably an nvidia issue (SLI GTX8800 Ultra's with 2.66.35 drivers.

ok, answered my own question. Go to a different driver and the problem goes away... silly me...
