TrackIR with clip, cant look down past 15 degrees
TrackIR with clip, cant look down past 15 degrees
I've tried everything in this situation.. but it seems that for whatever reason.. when i use the first person test, in trackir.. if i look downward, it stops at 15 degrees or so..
I've tried different heights, angles.. placement of the sensor, some to left, some more middle, etc.. Tried in complete darkness, with lights on etc.. nothing helps
I checked the settings and they arent set to any limits either.
I'm on windows 7 x64..
The same behavior follows through in fsx as well.
I cant recall this being the case in the past though.
Does anyone know what i can try to do to fix this?
Thanks

Re: TrackIR with clip, cant look down past 15 degrees
Within the TrackIR software, are your tracking points centered within the camera view?
Are you using the TrackClip, or the TrackClip Pro?
Are the points being lost, when looking down?
Is the camera at the same level as the tracking points?

Re: TrackIR with clip, cant look down past 15 degrees
Hii guys,
I have the same problem. Im using Windows 7 64bit... It worked fine on XP... save for a few erratic moments die to it being very light sensitive, but ow I cant Look down for some reason.
Im using the stick Track clip
Camera is on same level, adjusted many times to see if it was a case of misalignment/mis-positioning.
Is there a calibration tool at all?

Re: TrackIR with clip, cant look down past 15 degrees
The calibration is based off the relative positioning of the TrackClip, within the camera view, so using the centering hotkey(F12) recenters the view to 0, and then tracks the clip itself from there.
What version of the TrackIR software are you using?

Bump
Hi everyone,
Same specs and problem as above. can't look down more than about 15 degrees. Everything else works perfect!
Got TrackIR 5 today with ordinary clip.
Have win 7, 64 bit and latest beta 5.1 drivers..
Is there a fix to the bug or do I downgrade drivers?

Is the TrackClip centered within the camera view?
Is is horizontally even with the TrackIR camera?
