Side to side and forward, backward not showing in game

Not sure what axis this is but I can't lean forward and back or side to side and get a view change.

At one point I had it working but then it stopped.

The heads show that it is working but it doesn't show in game.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

What game are you using TrackIR in? Does it have 6 DOF support?

(BTW, the axes you're describing are Z and X.)

The game is Aces High and it must have 6 DOF support because it was working for a short period of time but stopped for some reason.

The other axis's work just fine.

This is maddening. Last night it was working perfectly and then this morning it's not.

I made no changes between last night and this morning, it just stopped working.

Aces High does offer 6dof support. If you could answer the following questions, it might help our efforts to support you.

What version of Windows are you using? 32 or 64 bit?
What version of TrackIR software are you using?
What device are you using? (eg. TrackIR 5)
When the issue is present, if you use alt-tab and select the TrackIR software, does it ignore the x and z axes there as well? Or is it just in game?

Thanks Mike, it is a TrackIR5 and I am using version 5.1 Beta3

Windows XP 32 bit.

The TrackIR screen always shows the Axis's to be working but it's not translating into game.

I wish I understood why, but it seems to be working now.

Probably be a waste of time to try to track such an intermittent problem, but I will try to discern a pattern and post here if I do.
