Greetings, Im getting back into simflying with the DCS A-10 sim and was thinking about dusting off my old TrackIR 3 (non-pro AFAIK). When looking at your website Im getting the feeling that I should be able to get 6DOF by downloading the latest software and somehow buy a Vector expansion. The product page says "System Requirements ::
Requires TrackIR 3 Series hardware"
Im running Win 7 64-bit.
So, am I safe to bring out my wallet and upgrade my TIR3 to a shiny new 6DOF status?
best regards

Hi Tord,
Yep, if you upgrade with Vector Expansion, you can have full 6 DOF in all new games. Alternately, you can upgrade to a TrackIR 4 or 5, which include 6 DOF out of the box.
Any of the above will work for you. Enjoy your return to flight sims and TrackIR!

Thanks mate, I'hoping I won't find an older v1 or 2 when I head up to pick through my flightsim box in the attic.
