Saving Profiles

Post by nagua »

Seem to be still struggling with TR5 after these many months. It seems my 76 year old eyes and head just don't want to slow down. Still way to eratic. Was reading on forum that Seth had a couple of FSX profiles that seem to make for a slower flight response time. I believe he said more scenery enjoyable. Question I have these setting in a folder on my "confuser" how do I put these in TR5. Not real computer literate. I assume I could than choose between different ones to see if that works.Been flying at 30 & 10 if I don't move my head I stay right side up most of the time. Many thanks you are real fortunate to understand all this stuff.

It's quite simple, really. Just follow these steps:

1: Make sure the new profile is on your desktop. It should be called profilename.xml.
2: Click on start, then click "my computer"
3: Double click on your C drive
4: Double click on "Program Files"
5: Double click on "Naturalpoint"
6: Double click on "TrackIR 5"
7: Double click on "Profiles"
8: Drag the new profiles from your desktop into this folder
9: Close the profiles window
10: Start TrackIR, go to the advanced settings, select the titles tab, find FSX, and chose the profile you just imported.
11: enjoy flying!

If you do not have the profiles, please email support@naturalpoint.com, and we will email them back to you.

Thanks -
