New 5.1 patch not detecting trackir 5

As the title says the 5.1 patch wont detect my trackir 5.
so ive just gone back to using the 5.0 software

is this a known issue thats going to be fixed?

What operating system are you using? Is it 32 or 64 bit?

Same here....

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.

Worked fine on the previous version.

I am having the same issue. 5.1 won't recognize the TrackIR device. I am also on Win7 64 bit.

I see this issue alot. There are some instances where permissions within Windows 7 will block a certain part of the installation, and the end result is that the camera won't be detected.

Try uninstalling your software, and unplugging your device. Download the TrackIR software, and save it to your desktop.
Right click on the installer and select "Run as administrator", even if your account is an administrator.
Continue the installation as normal, reboot, and when windows comes back up, plug in the camera and start the TrackIR software.
