TrackIR 5.1 - AppCrash on Win 7 x64 Ultimate

I bought TrackIR 5 with Track Clip Pro, installed the 5.1final software successfully but whenever I try to run the software it just crashes and forces me to close the application.

The 4.1.038final works but will freeze (not responding) whenever I try to close the software.

Would like to use the 5.1 software. Please help...

What type of crash is occuring? Is there any notice in your event log about it?

Also, what type of video card are you using?

I am using nvidia gtx460 1GB with the latest driver. The monitor is LCD 24" with 1920x1200 resolution.

Is your version of windows fully updated?

I don't think it is fully updated.
Which Win7 update(s) does the 5.1 software require in order to run?

It will run on any set of updates, however these errors appear to be memory related, which sometimes can be the result of an issue already patched out by Microsoft through updates.

I would recommend fully updating Windows, and if that doesn't work, try removing a single stick of memory at a time and running the software to check for a hardware fault.

Whew... I tried to speculate and update my Win7 x64 incrementally . And you know what... The 5.1 software won't run until I update my Win7 to the last one, that is the SP1!

The 5.1 and 4.1.038 are now working like charm.
