I have a TrackIr 4 with the vector clip. I had been running version 4.37 software. When the version 5.0 software came out in beta I found a bug that did not exist in 4.37.
In 4.37 I mapped "center" hot key as button number 3 on my CH Fighter Stick. I mapped "pause" hot key as button number 1 on my CH Pro Throttle. Everything worked perfectly.
I installed version 5.0 beta and mapped the hot keys the same way as 4.37. The bug that occurs is that when I mapped "center" on button number 3 of the CH Fighter Stick in the profile the software automatically mapped this function to button number 3 on the CH Pro Throttle also. When I mapped "pause" to button number 1 on the CH Pro Throttle in the profile the software automatically mapped this function to button number 1 on the CH Fighter Stick. I reported this in these forums June 14, 2009. As a matter of fact "Vincent" replied to my post saying that this occurrence would be investigated.
Now we have had the final version 5 software for quite a while. I decided to install it and try it today thinking that plenty of time had passed since I reported the above mentioned bug.
Well the bug still exists. When I choose to map the above mentioned functions to buttons on separate game controllers the function gets mapped to the same button on both controllers.
So my question is will this ever get fixed for version 5 software? The problem did not exist in the 4.37 software, but got introduced in the TrackIr version 5 software. I now need to uninstall version 5 and go back to 4.37 until such time the issue is fixed.
