I just ordered my Track Clip Pro today, and now I'm reading LOTS of posts in this forum about it breaking, shoddy construction, etc. etc.
I'm now getting a bit of buyer's remorse and I don't even have the product yet. I'm half expecting it to arrive in busted up little pieces.
Is there anything you can reccommend to prevent it from breaking? Maybe adding glue or tape before it breaks to reinforce it? I'm not going to toss it around, but I also don't want to be terrified that it's going to fall apart on me either.
What percentage of these things break within the warranty period? I'm surprised this issue hasn't be addressed in any way besides "email us and we'll replace it."
A way to reinforce to prevent breakage?

Re: A way to reinforce to prevent breakage?
Hi Skooter,
We did have a stretch of TrackClip PROs that were more prone to breakage than is typical, which was reflected in forum activity over the past couple of months. This has been shored up, and all new TrackClip PROs should be back to normal. Overall, we still have a failure rate that is below average for electronic devices. You shouldn't need to do any reinforcing of the product, and I'd recommend not getting too antsy before it arrives.

Thanks for the quick reply. It's nice to see a company who has someone actually looking at their forums !
