Trackir5 software freeze my PC/Windows

Update!

Managed to open the trackir5 software after downgraded my catalyst driver (had 11.5b - the witcher 2 fix)

but somehow the trackir5 is not getting any feedback from my trackclip i only have 2 red leds on and not the IR on.

Maybe our problems are a little different, I can get the software to run, it�s just keeping it running is my problem, and getting it started again without a full reboot�

MikeJ, if you try the TrackIR 4 software, the profile will default to TrackClip (vector). You have to edit the profile and select TrackClip Pro for proper tracking.

Also, it may help to check and make sure your serial isn't in the range of 152000-152914.

It would also help to find out exactly what version of video driver you are on.

Thanks for the reply, I should probably down load the manual for 4 if I load it again. If you knew how long it took me to get the 5 going, and there are still options I'm not real sure about.

My serial number on the cord is 152742

My NVIDA driver number is 275.33 for the GTX 460

There's the problem, mikej. You have a unit that was subject to a manufacturing defect, as described here. Please email support@naturalpoint.com to start the RMA process.

So you believe it�s still not working right? I had previously sent it back a few months ago for the red distortions in Pics 4 and 5 of the link. Looking at the unit now is more like Pic 7. Do you think the unit was not fixed correctly? I will send an email and start the RMA process again if that is your suggestion.

Hmm mike what about me? I do manage to open the software but i have red led lighs and the IR lights are not on and the camera is getting any feedback from the track clip

Well I do have the regular trackclip so i think the vector is ok but i did managed but it still didnt work. only 2 red lights.

anyway i did manage to open the trackir5 Software after i downgrade my ati graphic driver from 11.5 to 11.3
anyway.. i still have the 2 red lights like it doesnt get any input.
