I need the base for the T-IR 5 unit

Post by caaront »

I sent an email to tech support but will post this just in case.

Here is my email, hopefully I can order just the base/mount.

Email:

Hello, I have been using Track IR 5 for a couple of years now and love, I asm also a member of your forums.

I have a major problem but it's not with your product at all.

I got a new kitten and it pulled the Track IR 5 unit and it's mount off of the monitor, luckily the Track IR 5 unit landed on the computer desk but the mount for it apparently bounced off and landed on the floor.

I have a puppy who eats anything it finds, and it destroyed the Track IR 5 magnetic base/mount.

Is there any way that I can purchase the base/mount by itself?

I certainly hope I can so I can get back to using Track IR 5 in FSX.

Thank you so much, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Since I couldn't find a base on the website I called the support phone number at 541-753-6689 and got a live person within one minute, they sell the little bases separately for $7.00, and since they've had a few orders for the bases only they are adding the replacement bases to their website soon.

That's been my only problem in two years, I've never had a single technical problem with Track IR 5.

I got an email from support and apparently the guy on the phone missed the base on the website and I was provided a link, to find the base scroll down and it is just above the apparel.

Might I also recommend considering this? It worked pretty well with my pit after a few unfortunate shoe-based incidents.
