mouse emulation only working while on top?

Post by drifta303 »

Hello,

I've been trying to use my track-clip pro to help a friend who is disabled who can't talk and can't use her hands and arms to communicate and I need your help.

It seems that when I run the mouse emulation program it works fine until I load microsoft word and then onscreen keyboard, with these two programs in the foreground the mouse emulation doesnt seem to function until I click it, but when I click it I can't use the onscreen keyboard to type into ms word.

Is it possible to make the mouse emulation program 'always on top' or 'persistant' or always running in the background or something?

or even load the mouse emulation as a mouse driver rather than an app?

If you could help me with this it would really mean a lot to me as it means a lot to my friend who is disabled to be able to communicate with the outside world.

cheers

Paul

Hello -

We do have a head tracking product that is designed primarily to do what you're talking about, it can be found here. The mouse emulation mode added to TrackIR is not designed for use as a mouse, just for scrolling for games that don't have built in support.
