Hi every one, I have just today received my TrackIR 5 so I am a TrackIR newbie.
For a while now I have been using EZdok in FSX I have pretty much got to grips with it and can set up camera's ect quite well. I wanted to get the full benefit so purchased TRackIR. Forgive me if this question has been covered, I have searched the forum and I can't find an answer. My question is when running TrackIR I can't change my camera views to a different part of the cockpit unless I pause TrackIR. I can look around smoothly from the pilots eye view. I may be quite wrong but I thought I should be able to change the camera view from say down on the pedestal to up on the overhead so as to be able to look around the two extremes without having to rick my neck?? Or am I missing something obvious?
Any advice would be very welcome.

You may have to adjust the speed setting of the TrackIR software to make it faster. This will allow for greater movement in game with less movement out of game.

Hi Mike, thanks for your reply,
I have tried this and it works as you say, I prefer a slower movement though I must admit, I use Seths profile which is quite good and have adjusted the speed and smoothness. Still need to work on it though to get it as I want, possibly have to get used to moving my own head a lot more slowly....
I assume from your answer that I cant change EZdok camera views as I asked?

It might be a good idea to check with EZCA on that one. I, unfortunately, have yet to experiment with a copy of it, so I can't reproduce the issue directly.

peebee-
I just did some experimenting with this. Ive found that it works when you run FSX first, get situated in the cockpit, then turn on (or just make sure) that TIR is enabled in EZdok, THEN turn TIR on. If I follow this sequence, I can change cameras while using TIR, and not have to strain my neck and sit perfectly still or hit pause to look at my FMC.. I like the fact that I can look around too while Im in that camera(like looking up at the map, while I step through the legs in the FMC.
Hope this works for you.
