TrackIR5 is no longer working

This started happening this morning. I opened up the TrackIR software and on the camera above my monitor there are four red dots.

In the software from camera mode, there seems to be a couple of reflections or bulges coming from the normal three points. And there are some sporadic red blips as well. I tried to catch it on a screenshot best I could.

Ideas, tips, tricks, voodoo that I can perform would be great to know.

Do any dots appear when there is not a TrackClip in view?

Do the dots consistently have the bulges when you move around the camera view or do they only appear in certain areas of the camera?

Is the lens clean of dust/debris/smudges?

There are four red dots that are on the physical camera at all times.

When I dont have the pro clip in view there are no dots in the software, it looks fine.

When the pro clip is in view there are smaller bulges attached to the regular green circles almost all times. Last night for giggles I was just moving the pro clip all over to see how many red blobs would appear. There was one big on that would show up around the top and middle IR dots. I'll post a screenshot in a few hours.

Actually, I'll try to make a quick FRAPS video of the application for you guys to watch and really see what is going on.

I will check for dust and stuff when I get home. I have been using TrackIR though for multiple hours playing DCS and the camera hasn't been moved or touched since I set it up on my computer a few months ago.

This is all in a completely darkened room by the way.

If there are four dots in the lens, the camera is likely in TrackClip mode, not TrackClip Pro mode. The 4 dots inside the lens should turn off when using a TrackClip Pro. Just click the "TrackClip Pro" button on the left side of the software to change this.

Uh... crap. I can't verify this right now (at work). On top of that the device has already been shipped earlier today.

I don't understand how that setting would have changed from one night to the next morning though?

Well since you guys will have my device in the next few days anyway I suppose it is kind of a moot point. Can you still check the hardware on the camera anyway since it falls in between the two known problematic serial numbers?

I will check the software settings when I get home in a couple hours.

Edit: Okay, this is a little humiliating. Yes it was set to the TrackClip, why is still beyond me. My profile was made and created months ago and I never touched that button when I made changes to the curves for DCS.

I did mention those four dots in the original post, wish we would have checked that first heh...

Now my question still remains, can you double check the hardware when you receive the device? Also, is it possible that those red dots would still have appeared even if it was set correctly? Lastly, I had sent you a PM, Mike, with a quick video showing what was going on. Have you had a chance to view it?
