I'm a new TIR5 user, running on a Dell Precision M6300 Core Duo at 2.2GHz with a NVIDIA Quadro FX 1600M graphics card. I use TIR with the Condor soaring simulator only. Version is 5.1.300 (build 9945).
With just TIR5 running (no sim), CPU usage is 25-30% - and this significantly degrades FPS in the sim from about 120FPS to about 70FPS, and causes noticeable 'stutter'. This is s serious drawback to TIR5 - any hope for improvement in this area?
Also, TIR5 occasionally hangs while attempting to shut down the camera when I try to exit with the 'X'. So far, I have been able to kill the process manually using WTM.

Re: TIR5 - very high CPU usage, cant resize window
Hello -
How is the CPU usage affected when TrackIR is minimized? Is TrackIR properly minimizing when you run a game?
What version of windows are you running?
The shutdown hang is a known issue, and is scheduled to be addressed in the next release of the TrackIR software. Killing the process with Windows Task Manager will not cause adverse effects.
