Received new TrackIR today, s/w works, apps don't

Hello All, I was on pins and needles today when I received my new TrackIR 5. I downloaded then installed the online software and plugged in the TrackIR5 with the accompanied TrackClipPro. I started the software and it appears to work. I can look up, down, left and right and it moves. The way I think it is supposed to. Then I fired up Arma 2, Arma 2 OA, and Arma 2 DAYZ. None of my apps seems to recognize the TrackIR. Please tell me I'm doing something wrong and any help would be appreciated.

BTW I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit, w/16GB ram.

You need to enable trackir from arma itself in a control menu, hope it helps. I was confused at first for the same reason
