axis swap issue.

Post by GunJam »

Hello

I have track ir 5 with pro clip and have set up a pretty well dialed in profile that I use in DSC-a10c.

in the profile setup everything seems fine but in the game I run into an axis swap issue. Looking forwards everything works as it should but when I turn my head enough so that in the sim Im looking over a shoulder the zoom and horizontal slide axis (X and Z) swap...X becomes Z and Z becomes X. Now in this situation to look around the seat back rater than the natural slide to one side motion I have to lean forwards or lean back (which would normally be zoom) and to zoom in or out when looking back I have to slide left to right.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Try enabling trueview on those axes, and see if it works properly for you.

Turns out trueview was already enabled. I turned it off and it fixed the axis swap problem.

However now when looking over the shoulder the x axis is reversed. Is there any way around that? Its fine looking forward still.

Thanks for your help!

So when you turn left to look over your left shoulder, when you lean right it leans further left?

Hi, I just want to chime in on this subject. I had the same issue. I was playing F4BMS. Basically, with Trueview on, all axis work fine in frontal sphere. However there is NO axis Z, zoom, anywhere except frontal sphere. With Trueview off, both Z and X axis reversed when you look 180 over your shoulder to the back. When you move left, the view moves right and your head moves in the view zooms out.
