My toolbar TRackIR 5 Icon disappears when I load up FSX and I cannot find anyway of restoring the TrackIR 5 screen subsequently to make adjustments except by re-starting my PC and re-starting TrackIR 5. When I double click on TrackIR5, it says the process is already running, but it does not appear in Task Manager so that I can shut it down and re-open for adjustment.
How do I locate the software screen once it has disappeared on loading FSX?
I am using Windows 7
Restoring TrackIR screen
Re: Restoring TrackIR screen
Now, after booting up my PC, double clicking on the TrackIR 5 icon, produces a spinning wheel as if the software is opening, but no trackIR screen appears

Re: Restoring TrackIR screen
TrackIR minimizes itself to the system tray (the icons by the clock in the lower right corner) when a TrackIR enabled game/sim is run. This is done to prevent your video card from having to render TrackIR underneath any other applications, and frees up more resources for the game. You can bring it back by right clicking on the TrackIR icon in the system tray and selecting "minimize/maximize to tray".
Make sure that when you're trying to load TrackIR by double clicking the desktop icon that it's not already in the system tray.

Thanks, Mike.
I'll try that next time I play

Yep, your advice works fine, Mike. Now I can get on with fine-tuning the settings. Thanks a million
