TrackIR Software doesn't recognize any game anymore

I sucessfully used TrackIR for quite a while now. Mainly I used it for FSX but other games too (Dirt 2, ARMA2).
Since a few weeks ago (maybe when I updated the software, but I'm not sure) it stopped recognizing any game.
In the TrackIR software everything looks fine and all head movement ist properly recognized. But as soon as I start a game the software doesn't switch to the appropriate profile nor does it display the title. It just says "None.".
I tried to reinstall the software 5.1.3 - no change.
Then I tried to revert to 5.1 - same result.
I deleted simconnect from FSX and reinstalled it from the SDK - no effect.
I even reinstalled FSUIPC although I'm not sure if TrackIR really uses it. But also - no change.

I'm running out of ideas now.
And why aren't the other games working anymore? Thy did before without problems.

Running Windows 7 Professional SP3.
FSX, TrackIR running as Administrator and excluded in av software.
Firewall not active.

I'd appreciate any help.

Try running both TrackIR and FSX as administrator. If that doesn't do the trick, it may help to actually uninstall FSX, manually delete all of the Simconnect files from Windows\WinSXS, then reinstall FSX and reapply the SP1, SP2, and accelleration updates if needed.
