TIR3 =equals= a Flightstick?

Post by Merc »

Jason,
Try getting the idea through, that your TIR is kind of like a flightstick/flightcontroller.
While reading your forums it seems the guy's are confused about the way to setup the TIR's.
This is new technology on one hand, but at least to the flightsimming community the techiques involved in setting it up ought to be old hat by now.
As the more experienced flightsimmers can easily setup a profile for their flightsticks for almost any flightsimm.
I've approached TIR from the veiwpoint of being just another type of flightstick and have
just followed basic Flightstick tweaking techniques with the curves and it worked like a charm (Sweet!!!! and smooth as Silk)
LoL was able to down a Bf-109/7B in a P-40E in a fair 1v1.
The sticking veiw problem I had turned out to be the light filtering needed to be turned up.
(I've got a bright desktop lamp for a keyboard lite)
Also, I was able to slow and smooth the veiws out by turning the smoothing up to 100 and Lowering my 1st three postions on the curves to 0,..2,..4 that helped edit out the small head moves made when looking at my keyboard to adjust flaps, prop pitch,..ect.
Has anyone else tried setting TIR up using the same type of smoothing the curves technique pattern?
Was only a guess technique but for me it seems to really work
