Hi,
can anyone please help me with permanently moving the eye point back and down in the cockpits of FSX aircraft. I use a TripleHead2Go and three screens. If I run FSX in windows mode everything is okay. However, once I switch to full view the panel is so close I can't see anything. I can adjust my head and use the "center" hot key, but when (and I always have to) I need to re-center with the hot key, I'm right back to losing the panel again.
I noticed in one of your replies you mentioned changing the eye point in the aircraft config file. Is this the only way? And if so what line in the file am I looking for?
(I'm using TIR 4 hardware and v5 software)
Hope you can help
Roger
Adjusting the eye point
Re: Adjusting the eye point
Yes to permanently move the view point, in each aircraft, you will need to open the aircraft.cfg file, in each aircraft folder.
As for the specific line, that might be better answered in a specific FSX support forum, such as AVSIM (http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?), or SimHQ (http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/f ... mmary.html)

Re: Adjusting the eye point
Hi, over at Avsim there is a specific thread that tells how to do this for every plane in the hangar. Someone actually wrote a utility that does the work more or less automatically (it saves the opening VC view that you want for each plane without messing with the files).
