Question about looking left and down?
Question about looking left and down?
I have to say I love this thing and have used it for several games over the years. The one thing I haven't really used it for till recently is looking left and down. When I look down past 25 degrees and look to the left past 45 degrees it gets choppy or just doesn't do any thing (think it has to do with the sensor and the pro-clip). If I do the same with the right it works smoothly and has no issues. I have tried to play with the profile settings with speed and movement. If I change it too much then the right side moves too much too soon. I use it mainly for arma2 CO (not day z)I play mostly ground but when I look at the ground for things during MOS maps and drive vehicles it would be nice to have full range. So I am at kinda a loss as what to do? I couldn't find any posted profiles for Arma2 and google searched the issue best I could. Any feed back would be great.

Re: Question about looking left and down?
It sounds like you might have a problem with your camera placement. When you look to the right the TrackClip Pro is staying in view of the camera but when looking to the left it sounds like your head is getting between the TrackIR and the TrackClip. Try moving the TrackIR more to the left side of your monitor.

I agree with Jeff that making sure your TrackIR placement is dialed in is critical. Once you've done so, if you're still looking for a good Arma 2 profile, Arma + TrackIR legend dslyexci recently posted his on his blog:

Re: Question about looking left and down?
lol it wasnt my camera placement. I have a chair that sits lower so my pro clip sits lower since I do. Had the camera all the way left, it was just my head. Thanks for your response and all the info. Great product, makes every thing better and your support rocks. I recommend it to every one.
Thanks again
