Using Trackpoint with Unsupported Games

Hi,

Is it possible to setup Trackir 5 to work with any game, or will it only work on games that are initially programmed to work with it?

For example, I want to use Trackir 5 with Everquest, but it's not one of the software titles listed on the Trackir 5 software. Do I need to create a profile or some other setup steps? Is this not possible? If it is, please point me in the right direction.

To get the full 6DoF head tracking experience the game has to have TrackIR support built into. Some games may be able to use mouse emulation mode but will only get you up/down and left/right mouse movement.

Actually that's exactly what I'm looking for. I'll see if I can figure out how mouse emulation mode works

To use the mouse emulator you start TrackIR first, then the Mouse Emulation program, it should be in the same folder as TrackIR in the start menu. Mouse Emulator will only work with games that use DirectInput to handle mouse though. I haven't tried EverQuest with mouse emulation so please let us know if it works or not.
