not recomended by naturalpoint,.. but CAN it be done ?
it says we should not use more then 5meter usb cables.
but i need a little bit more for a nice setup.
i didnt find 6 meters, but 7.
for a 12 camera setup (flex v2)
and 2 naturalpoint hubs.
the only thing i can say that active extender cables dont work.
hardware manager shows the cameras, but arena doesnt.
would be great to hear if there is anybody who have experience with out of spec cable length.

Our tests with longer cables have shown a much greater chance of a degraded signal causing issues with the data being corrupted.
Just to clarify, if the cameras are showing up in Device manager and in Arena you click on Cameras>Select they still don't show up as being connected?

i have exchanged the extension cables with other ones and now they show the cameras in arena.
yesterday i tried calibrating, and it got me a 12 times exceptional calibration result.
today we have adjusted the cameras since they where only very roughly looking in the right direction.
but now it acts very strange.
the calibration runs and the numbers get smaler like usual.. results go up to fair and good..
but at a certain point the numbers suddenly go up again and all results jump back to poor. (never saw this happening before)
could that be of corrupt data ?
like it only worked by accident yesterday.. (?)
