Hi,
we have a big issue with the esync device, which is not able to read the timecode. The timecode is sent through SDI in smpte format and than sent through sdi to the esync hub.
Furthermore synchronization in motive, has nothing to do with timecode, is that correct? synchronization is to trigger camera?
would be nice if you could enlighten me.
thanks!
Circasia

Re: Arri Alexa to Esync not giving timecode
Hi Circassia,
Thank you for your post. Unfortunately, SDI is a digital signal and not compatible with the eSync's time code input. The eSync only accepts a standard analog time code signal.
Could you please explain your second question?
Best Regards,
