With version 2.0, one of the problems I have seen is that when you have the keypad * mapped, you cannot take screenshots. I have no clue why. If I assign it to any hotkey, SS wont work. Unmap it, SS take fine.
Keys for IL2 I like to use are as follows....
KEYPAD + : Enable / Disable
KEYPAD - : Precision Mode (If you do not map these to your joystick, use the + for precision as you use it more often and it is a larger key)
BACKSLASH: Center TIR
CAPSLOCK: Mode switch (I never use it but it works good as a hotkey)
F12: TeamSpeak Global Push to Talk
F11: Teamspeak Whisper Push to Talk
F10: Open for whatever I need extra.
DO NOT map these keys....

Re: DO NOT map these keys....
it seems like TrackIR takes all the processed keys out of the input "chain". So after TIR processed your "*", IL-2 will never find that input in its input-queue.
Same happened to me with the default setup "left-mouseclick" on "left-Win". Suddenly I was not able to press "Win-D" to clear the desktop.
Its a strange thing ... especially since I found no way to set the "mouse-left-click" to a key-combination I would never use. Only way is to turn of the RMB and LMB-mapping in TIR-software.
