TrackIr5 stopped working

Hello,
after a 5 week holiday I wanted to use my TrackIr5 ahain, but it stopped working.
I used the device for about 3 years and never had an issue, but now I can't get it tot work.

In the TrackIr-Software it just says 'device not found'.
In the windows device manager, I have an unknown device VID_131D&PID_0157 which I suppose must be the TrackIr5.
If I use the option update device driver, no driver can be found, even if the TrackIr5 5.2.2 software is installed correctly.
The device itself keeps just black, no LED's are on.
I'm using Windows 7 64 Bit.

Thank you Dustin,
I already opened and closed a call ;-)

I was able to fix the problem by myself:
I plugged the TrackIr5 in all the USP-Ports, waited for the Windows driver message and finally I found one port which worked.

After my holiday I reorganize3d my desktop and I have changed the USB-ports for several devices. I wasn't aware, the TrackIr will only work in ONE of my USB ports.

Is there another solution to get the TrackIr work on other USB ports ?

Hello,

It does concern me that it only works on one of your USB ports. There could be a number of things causing this. I would first check that your motherboard drivers are up to date. If you have checked all software and the problem still exists I would assume it is a hardware related issue with your USB ports.

Hi,
I have the same problem (camera don't work suddenly) on w7 64 bit.
I try to install on another pc w7 32 bit but nothing to do.
For me, I expect that it's not due to an entry usb but maybe after an update of...??
How can I find and solve this problem?
I have the help with teamviewer, empty all entris of registry and reinstall trackir5 but the camera work only 1 minute.
I suppose that it's possible to find the problem.(may be in the installlog.text?
