First of all, like many others I've been absolutely amazed by the integration into FB enhanced mode! No need to pause or center TIR is a godsend not to mention the deadzone preset!
Jim, if Halstead weren't likely to slap me I'd be humping your legs about now.
Anyway, since this is the first time I've been able to use Absolute mode I've noticed some issues with the 2.0 software. These may be a product of stuff I'm overlooking but here goes:
PROFILES
1) I can't load Forgotten Battles in the profiles page. It keeps reverting back to Battle of Britain (which I don't have btw) when I switch pages it always reverts back for some reason so I have no idea if it does anything to begin with.
2) Everytime I load up 2.0 to play a game of FB (which is all I'm using TIR for atm) I have to manually reset F8 Enhanced mode AND click the Absolute mode radio button. Shouldn't this be all in a profile that pre-loads when you start the software? Yes, I've completed my settings, saved them with my own name, with the Auto-Unload checked (tried this unchecked too).
3) I still find the sensitivity using the Deadzone preset which I use for FB to be a bit too sensitive. However, the sens. sliders are already at zero. Is there anyway I can bring it down further?
If nothing could be done with these issues I could easily live with them and still can't get over how great Enhance mode is in FB.
GREAT WORK GUYS!!! You'll be able to find me spreading the TIR gospel over at the Ubi IL2 forums.
2.0 Issues, but Enhanced ROCKS!

Also, I just noticed if I switch profiles the F8 enhanced mode turns to relative mode. You have to hit F8 twice to switch it back to Enhanced.

I have noticed all the same problems. I do not think that the BOB being highlighted in the last page makes a difference. As long as you have your FB profile listed for the FB selection, it will auto load.
I also do not think it matters that the blue check blob is on mouse or enahnced. What matters is the little status message in the bottom right corner of the software box. Dont qoute me here as I have not tested this yet, but I am thinking that the mode hotkey "should" make that blob switch to enhanced but doesnt. As long as it says TrackIR at the bottom right, mine has worked fine.
Dont know about the deadzones. I have been using a custom deadzone / agressive mix by editing the grouping points.

Hello:
Easy questions to answer:
The Profiles page just shows you what games we support with trackIR Enhanced, you then select a game and associate a profile with it. It just reverts back to BoB because the list doesn't mean anything.
Same for editing the Motion mode, it is just editing the mode, nothing more, it does not set the mode, only the Mode Hotkey sets the mode, as shown in the lower right hand corner of the software.
If the deadzone preset is too fast then you will have to customize it. Edit the points individually. The easiest way to do this is to RAISE the points that are at 0 and then re-GROUP POINTS and move the whole bunch at once to your new lower setting. Hope that makes sense.
Glad you like trackIR Enhanced!

Glad you like trackIR Enhanced! Thanks Jim, yes that made sense and I've managed to tweak it to my satisfaction now.
It would be nice if a loaded profile would remember what mode you're in and stay there. If I shut down FB and start it up again later I have to manually reset it back to Enhanced first. No biggie really.
cheers
