Hello,
Our setup:
We have a VRmagic USB platform camera with per frame hardware trigger TTL pulse connected to an eSync over the isolated plug.
In the "Synchronization" tab of the Motive software, the "Final Frame Rate" show up correctly.
Our question:
Is it possible to start recording a take (rigid body tracking) as soon as our VRmagic cameras start to trigger?
Best Regards

Re: Start rigid body tracking from external trigger
The input signal to the eSync is generally expected to be a continuous series of pulses. If the input signal goes away, cameras will stop sending data to Motive, and the eSync must re-acquire the signal when it returns. The eSync can be configured to start Motive recording based on a hardware input, but this would involve connecting a second signal to the eSync to act as the recording signal; this signal needs to be a single pulse (one pulse to start the recording and a second pulse to stop the recording) or an active high or low signal asserted for the duration of the recording.
This may not be an option, but if your USB camera accepts an input trigger, you could essentially slave that camera to the eSync, and have the eSync generate triggers only while Motive is recording.
