Software unable to start

Hello everyone.
I am having a critical issue with the TrackIR software. It is completely unable to start, and throws an error message, included below:
"An error has occurred creating the TrackIR primary view. Please contact support if the problem persists."

The software worked when I tried earlier this week. I recently updated the game list, but I am not sure if that caused the issue. I can not think of any other alterations to my system since it worked.
I have tried reinstalling C++ and visual studio, but that changed nothing.
I have searched a bit, but couldn't find anything. Googling the error message gave me no results at all.

Have you tried removing and re-installing the software? I would suggest installing the same version and testing it before and after installing the game update. Please let me know the result.
