Scratches on lens?

Hi i just bought a TrackIR 5 from a online shop here in Sweden and when i received it i saw that i had tiny scratches all over the lens probably from the package rubbing against it, my friend told me that he had no scratches on his TrackIR, and that he had a protective film attached on it when he got it, but i did not have that, i guess my TrackIR was a return one from a previous costumer...

So my question is will this have any effects on the function or performance?, i just ask here before sending it back because of the hustle of it all.

I tried to take pictures but i cant get the focus right, or i get allot of reflections, sorry

I would need to see pictures of the scratches before commenting on whether or not they will impact the tracking. Have you already created a ticket with us at help.naturalpoint.com?
