Won't track downwards

Post by bkrull »

I'm having problems with my Track Clip Pro not tracking downward past 35 degrees, if that. Sometimes, it won't track down at all. There are no light sources behind or to the side of me. Also, the tracking sometimes behaves erratically in-game (Falcon BMS). Any suggestions? Also, sometimes the software quits running. It doesn't show up as a task in Windows Task Manager, only in the process section of Task Manager. To restart it, I have to first shut down the process and then restart the software.
Thanks for your help and happy holidays.

Bill,

You seem to have a few different issues. Let me see what I can do about that.

The first problem you mention seems like the camera angle need to be adjusted to allow it to track properly. Are you currently using the TrackClip or the TrackClip PRO?

Erratically tracking in BMS is an issue that I am looking into. Would you be able to supply a screenshot of your TrackIR settings in BMS?

The task shows as a process because it is operating in the background. When you load a game the TrackIR software will automatically minimize to save on system resources. You just need to go to the taskbar, and select show hidden icons. When that opens up, you should see the TrackIR logo, and if you right click that there is an option to Minimize/Maximize to tray. That should allow you to open and adjust the settings without having to close it down and re-open.
