I'm a long time user of TrackIR and am perfectly happy with it, Natural Point do a fantastic job at developing and informing and I feel I want to support their efforts so that they can go on developing the product. I am however undecided about whether to upgrade and I'm sure there are many in much the same position, not so much is it worth it, TrackIR is worth its weight in gold, but for 70 will I notice a big enough difference to justify the outlay of buying a new unit when to all intents and purposes the old one is still going strong.
Just as a thought, and yes I appreciate that it is software development more in the sim developers area than say NP, but if I had two TrackIR controllers one old and one new would it be possiable for head movement to be included . As an example in Oleg's new BoB it would be advantagous to move your head left or right to look out past the cockpit or even just look past struts , the 190 springs to mind.If TIR 2 was set up as normal in front and another unit setup directly above then the front unit tracks as normal while the above unit detects any side to side or back and forwards movement and cancels it from adjustment to the panning view if you get what I mean? Like I said just a thought it would certainly motivate me to get a new unit.
Cheers Mowgali

Hello:
Thanks for your interest in supporting NaturalPoint and the TrackIR2. My best answer to your question is to point you to the many forum posts on other sites about the TrackIR2, they seem to love it. Also, here is the first Internet review of the TrackIR2:
