I just got Track IR2 after thinking about getting this for over a year now. I hooked it up, and without chaging any settings, I was able to get in my plane and fly around. It worked, not to my liking completely, but I reminded myself I had not yet adjusted anything. That was Thursday of last week.
Fast forward to this morning. I print out the readme, and proceed to try and follow it (I've read more clear instructions BTW), and then satisfied I'd done everything asked, I fired up FB only to find...everything about my views was hosed!
It's difficult for me to describe accurately, but after initially entering the game, my view then moves to either an overhead and slighty off center view, or a view of the seat (also slightly off-center). I made a Track of what I have experienced as well (just in case anyone wanted to see).
I then came to this forum, read another guys post about problems, and downloaded a FB profile posted by someone. I used it...no change.
Could use a little help here guys.
Thanks

Help!!!!
Re: Help!!!!
Hello PVTRoger
Firstly make sure that you have the Ubisoft patches installed.
Then if it is possible call me and I will help you set up your TrackIR to use in IL2FB.

You could try downloading the profiles on the FB page of the main website.
Re: Help!!!!
I'm not quite sure I understand you and this might sound like a silly question but once you are in the cockpit do you push F12 to first center your view?
Also make sure you are in enhanced mode when playing.

Re: Help!!!!
Xnomad,
Pressing F12 will center your view in the cockpit and F8 will turn enhanced mode off and on.
This is only if you have not changed your default hot keys. If you have a TrackIR2 then the unit will have a blue glow when you are in enhanced mode. You need to be in this mode for TrackIR to work correctly.
I hope this helps

Re: Help!!!!
Sounds like what happens to me ,if the unit is picking up a light source (sunlight from a window etc.) from behind me. When that happens ,the view will move suddenly to the floor or the top of the canopy.
