New user help required.

Hi all.

Total noob with head tracking so please bare with me.

Purchased a second hand IR5 and have installed it on my gaming pc.
Win 10 64bit.
Used the latest up to date software 5.2.2. Installed ok and works ok in the set up page/grid.

Tried it on a few games. ETS 2 - project cars and Assetto Corsa.
It only seems to react to the ETS 2. I know there is problems with AC due to switching to 64bit but it doesn't work with Project Cars either.

Camera recognises cap clip and also it recognises the games via green light on camera status but fails to work on all but ETS 2. Camera has 2 green lights in game.

Have updated software and game profiles via settings and loaded Project cars from that, but still doesn't work.
Works fine in start up/grid mode.

Any ideas / advice?

Have you tried Assetto Corsa since they've released 1.3.4? The 64-bit issue should be resolved. Is your games list up to date? In Project Cars, does it show up in the controller menu? Are you running the TrackIR software and simulations both as an administrator?

Not yet tried with new version of AC.
Where does it show up in controller menu in pCars?

Both games I get green light for connection and detected game status.
Have clicked the update games option in settings but AC does not show up in profiles.

Running Track IR with Admin and guess my steam games are also run with admin rights, but will check next time I play.

Get detection and it works in set up and with the steam Truck sim 2 game ok.

Is there something I am doing wrong or do I need to activate in game?

I'm working with the Devs about the game not showing. I believe it needs to just move from one list to another.

Sometimes you need to run all of Steam as an administrator, so it then will pass the privileges down to the games.

In PCars you just need to make sure you are in the helmet cam view. It doesn't need to be activated. I apologize for my misinformation in the last post.

Running AC with admin rights and a clean install.
Still no show in profile lists and the game isn't recognised by camera anymore in AC where it was before clean install. Everything up to date.

Running admin on both programs.
Works via helmet cam in Project cars. Any news as to if it can be used just in cockpit view?

It won't show up in the list right now. I'm waiting on hearing back from Kunos about that. There is something that needs to be done on their end to change the title in the list.

Do you get both green lights on the TrackIR when you start AC?
