Lost sim connection

Hi,

After flying FSX for a while, I lost the sim connection with the TrackIR5. However the two green lights are still on but no movements at all. It's hard to get the Track IR5 shut down and after reacitvation the TrackIR5 stops again after 5 minutes.

I have made several reinstallations, but with no success!

Is there anybody who will assist me with this issue?

What version of the TrackIR software are you running? What version of FSX do you have installed? Are you running any add-ons that change the camera or view?

Hi Mike,

I run the latest software (Version 5.2.2) and FSX Gold Edition.
No ,I have no add-ons which can change the camera. What kind of add-ons would change this?

Thanks for the recommandation of the software, but I am afraid to inform you that this software does not work at all...

So I have installed the latest again and will study on it...Keep you posted!

It doesn't work at all? Like doesn't launch, or won't install? I may need to look at the installer if that is the case. Have you had any changes since you reverted back to the newest version of the software?

Hi Mike,

Track IR 5 does work well for the first 5 minutes and then lost connection with FSX. The 2 green lights are still on, but no movements at all! It is hard to shut down Track IR and after a hard reset it works well. It must be the sim connect software I think..

Troubleshooting simconnect can be a pain. I'd advise going to SimHQ or AVSIM forums for advice. I'll see if I can come up with something.

It seems at AVSIM Forum not a matter of the sim connection, but of TrackIR 5. On Internet I have read several problems with freezing of TrackIR5 and no solutions...
